Pram Reviews

General advice for buying a pram:

Walk it around the shop to make sure it is easy to steer.

Try the buckles and make sure it will be easy to use and a 5 point harness for security.

Try putting it in your boot to make sure you can lift it and fold it easily.
Make sure it is light enough to lift and carry in and out of the boot etc even if you have a c section

Which double pram should I buy and why?

Baby jogger city select.
Although I haven't been able to use my pram for two of my own. I have used it as a double for my daughter 6 months and her cousin 3 months. My daughter sat up top in the seat while my nephew slept in the bassinette underneath. Received so many fabulous comments about and the two just looked so cute. Also having the two of them attached to the pram fram didn't change how easy it is to use. Mother of Layla, 6months

Mountain Buggy:
We love our double Mountain Buggy ( have a 1 and 4 yr old) its so great to push, the boys both have enough room and are comfy we even use it on the beach i also place master 4 on the foot plate & cousin(1) in pram when out for the day he day its tough enough to handle it. cons- size , fitting it in the boot,we dont fit down some aisles at the supermarket but overall if i had to buy again i would look at this or the adventure buggy with the toddler seat. We also have a single bugaboo, maclaren stroller and Quick smart( got rid of the old valco) at the moment for pushing around the streets my preference is MB also more shopping fits underits tough enough to handle it. Cons-size, fitting it in the boot, we dont fit down some aisles at the supermarket but overall if i had to buy again i would look at this or the adventure buggy with the toddler seat. Phil and Teds with double attachment:
We have a Phil and Teds with the double attachment. It is great. Easy to steer, fairly narrow, easy to collapse into car (unless you are male). Down fall would be baby not facing you in first few months and if child falls asleep moving them into the fully reclined position is a bit of a drop. But we love it and use it every day. Steelcraft strider plus:
I've just bought a steelcraft strider plus. It's a little wide and takes a bit of getting used to but I love it! And love the fact that your accessories come included - rain cover, sun cover, boot cover and accessorie pouch for holding drinks etc: And the fact that the top seat is reversable when not using the second seat. I spoke to a few ppl who have them and read a lot of reviews and as of yet can find no reason to fault it! Jenna (facebook)

Which is a must for me.  Mother of Indi-lee 10 months
