Sling reviews

Baby Bjorn

This sling is essential. The Baby Bjorn brand is better than the Target brand for your back. Mother of Jason 22 months.

Essential. A useful feature is the adjustable straps. I find that it hurts your back if you wear it too long. Mother of Chase 20 months.

Essential. Great for keeping your hands free and for fitness with baby. Mother of Amy 6, Sophie 3y.

Essential. Baby sleeps well in it, although it is too warm on hot days. Mother of Thomas 15 months.

I would recommend it. Not essential, but handy to have. Convenient, easy to use and baby can face in or out. Mother of Andrius 3 months.

Essential, an excellent all round sling and very secure. Mother of Chloe 20 months.

Can be useful, depends on your lifestyle. Mother of Lukas 10 months.

I recommend it, although only when baby is small. It’s a luxury item. A useful feature is baby can look around while in it.

Essential. Easy to get baby in and out. Easy to wear.

Baby Bjorn Synergy

I would not recommend it. I found it fiddly and would prefer a sling. Mother of Jake 15 months.

Bubba Moe

Any brand would do. A luxury item. Useful when baby is young to carry them around the house when crying. I felt the baby’s back wasn’t supported. Mother of Kayla 4 months.

Fisher Price

Essential. I would recommend it. Good for closeness to baby. Mother of Callum 23 months.

Kapuchi

 Essential. I would recommend it.

Love N Care

I would recommend. A luxury item. This brand is comfortable with lots of padding for baby. It is quite fiddly to get on by yourself. Mother of Rose 3y.

Maya Wrap
A luxury item. A useful feature is it changes to the size of the child. Mother of Mia 2 months.

Peanut Shell
Positive features of sling: Very cute sling, was fantastic for getting him to sleep when he was little, easy to bring along with us everywhere, could wear him in different positions, can use it up to toddler weight.
Negative features of sling: Puts all the weight of the child on one shoulder, the sling is not adjustable so unless your partner is exactly the same size as you, you cannot share it. Although it supports the weight of a toddler I stopped using it at around 8 months.
Star rating for your sling: 3/5, Mother of Felix, 17 months

Ryco

Any brand would do. A luxury item. Mother of Blake 3y, Chelsea 1y.
