Ingredients:
1 1/2 sheets puff pastry
6 eggs
2 potatoes
1 onion
3 rashers of bacon
1/2 capsicum
4 button mushrooms
1 cup grated cheese
dried mixed herbs
dob of butter or margerine to grease baking dish
Method:
Slice potatoes and par boil (I do it in the microwave), drain and cool.
Slice onion and bacon into small pieces and fry.
Slice other vegetables
Cut star shapes out of the half sheet of pastry (children can help with this)
Grease baking dish with butter or margerine (children can help with this)
Push pastry into baking dish and push into sides
Arrange potato on botton of dish, then sprinkle over onion and bacon.
Arrange other vegtables on top (children can help with this)
Sprinkle over cheese, then herbs. Lastly place stars on top.
Put in a moderate oven (180oC) until golden brown.
Eat warm or cold.
Also great to make in muffin tins for a picnic.
