Telling your children you are pregnant

How many weeks pregnant were you when you told older children, how old we're they?

• Past the safe period. depends how old. if they are young, explain it when you get a belly. if they are over 6 then just tell them around 12 weeks
• Told my 2yr old at12 weeks because he insisted on jumping on me and told my 7 and 9 yr old at 14 weeks after the transnucal ultrasound showed everything was ok.
• I told my 2 yr old at 10 wks as I knew I would need all that time to prepare him for a sibling
• I told my 18 month old at 12 weeks i highly recommend the book theres a house inside my mummy its adorable and he understood straight away
• With my 2nd bub, my son was 5 n i told him at around 12 weeks, i am 17 weeks pregnant now n i told my now 7 yr old as soon as we new, but my poor 15 mth old doesnt understand n is in for a big surprise come April, lol.
• With my second pregnancy I told my daughter when my belly got bigger, don't know how much she understood as they are only 14mths apart. With my third i waited till 12weeks, the elder kids where 4 & 5. They then told everyone else
