Pancakes:
 
A family favourite recipe, these are quick and easy. Your child can help by tipping in the measured ingredients and stirring the bowl.
 
Ingredients:
 
1 Cup Self Raising Flour
1egg
milk, about 1 Cup 
 
Method:
 
Place flour and egg in a bowl.  Gradually add in enough milk to make a thick batter, generally about 1 cup.  Mix well. It is important to let the mixture stand for at least 30 minutes for light and fluffy pancakes. Cook with a small amount of oil in a hot fry pan.
 
Serve:
 
We serve with sliced banana and strawberry (frozen berries if they are out of season).
Add a splash of maple syrup if desired.
 
Reheat:
